Results

Today I did a run and gun style hunt hanging a lock-on stand in a pinch point where a timber strip splits two open fields. I got into my stand at 4 pm and hunted until dark. The only deer observed were three doe who entered the woodlot at about dark. No bucks checking or chasing the doe as they fed on the acorns in the wood lot. I exited the stand and left it hanging, intending to hunt it in the morning.

More to come!

Afflicted with Whitetail OCD, I have been addicted to the Whitetail Deer since the late 1980s. It is an all-consuming and never-ending passion to learn about and ultimately preserve the heritage of whitetail deer hunting. Now I feed that addiction with the Whitetail OCD blog.
